Some of the most exciting Champagnes are still the ones most people in America have never had the opportunity to discover
Champagne Import Group was founded with that simple belief, and it still decides which houses we represent and how we bring them to market.
An independent importer, dedicated exclusively to Champagne
Based in Los Angeles, Champagne Import Group works directly with independent grower-producers in France, carefully selecting houses with their own identity, history and approach to winemaking, and representing their Champagnes in the United States.
Rather than building a portfolio around the largest or most recognizable names, Champagne Import Group looks for producers whose wines offer something distinctive: exceptional quality, character, craftsmanship and a genuine connection to where they are made.
Being focused only on Champagne means the expertise goes deep rather than wide. Every plot, every dosage and every disgorgement date in the book is known, and the houses stay approachable enough to work in a real hospitality program.

The way people experience Champagne has changed
The same bottles, everywhere
The large commercial brands are now in restaurants, hotels, retailers and liquor stores alike. Guests have often already had them many times.
The excitement fades
When a bottle no longer feels new, ordering it stops being an occasion. And when the same bottle is available far cheaper elsewhere, guests start asking whether it is worth ordering at all.
Venues lose the moment
It becomes harder to stand out or to build something memorable around Champagne. We think venues deserve a more unique and more profitable way to approach it.
Making Champagne more personal
Champagne has always been associated with celebration, hospitality and memorable moments, yet the experience is often built around the same commercial brands found everywhere. Champagne Import Group saw an opportunity to approach it differently.
Through its personalized Champagne program, the company combines authentic grower Champagne with custom labels, engraving and other design elements to create bottles that become part of a venue's own identity. The goal is not simply to put a logo on a bottle, but to create a Champagne experience that belongs to that property.
By making Champagne more unique to the place where it is served, the concept is designed to strengthen brand identity, elevate the guest experience and create new opportunities to increase Champagne sales.
Each creates another moment where Champagne can be experienced, shared and remembered.

Vincent Peeters
Founder & Managing DirectorVincent Peeters founded Champagne Import Group to change how Champagne is experienced in the United States. He represents the four houses himself, which is why every enquiry is answered by the person who chose the wines.
He spends his time between the villages of Champagne and the venues that pour it, and the conversations usually start the same way: how is the property approaching Champagne today, and is there room to make it something guests remember.
